Rolling Admission

Rolling admissions students come to Grand River Academy all throughout the year. We understand that not all families find GRA or are ready to change schools by the first week in September. A number of rolling admission students join us each year, and we strive to provide a smooth transition and an opportunity to start fresh. The application process is the same, and the Admissions Office will work with families to allow them to move as quickly as possible.

Why offer rolling admission?

No parent wants to see their child become disconnected; we know it’s your top priority to help your son find success academically and personally. That’s why parents with young men just like your son have found renewed success by switching schools during the school year.

We understand that some boys need more than what conventional teaching systems and traditional public high schools can offer. By placing your son in a holistic educational atmosphere, individualized instruction and guidance will empower him to take control of his education and rediscover success.

Our goal is a seamless transition.

The Admissions Office and the Dean of Academics work to match an academic schedule that is similar to that of the student’s previous school. We also use the student’s application file to choose a good dormitory and roommate prior to arrival.
